We love to see a Chica who is driven and about her business! Our GoGetter of the week, Jen, is just that! Why do we love her?

1) She's one of the sweetest women you'll ever meet
2) She's an AMAZING poet...this woman has a way with words!
3) She's active in her community and is a volunteer and fundraiser for Camp of Dreams - a non-profit organization who's mission is to prepare underprivileged young people to reach their full potential through the development of life skills, knowledge, and cultural enrichment.
4) Not as important as number #3, but she works hard SO she knows how to PLAY HARD (yea...she's well rounded)!
5) Her most admirable qualities are her unshakable positive and fiery spirit, her wit and her overall intelligence (Most recently, she's the proud recipient of a Master's Degree from Columbia College - we'll be celebrating this achievement with her tonight at Mix, located near Halsted and Diversey)

ReMix for a Cause Tonight!

To show their support of women and families challenged with Breast
Cancer, the Black Alumni Network is donating proceeds from this
weeks edition of the ReMix to the Breast Cancer network of Strength!

The Breast Cancer Network of Strength and its network of
affiliates provide information and support to anyone touched by
Breast Cancer. As originally envisioned by Network of Strength founders, all programs and services are available free-of-charge.

We're definitly going to be in the building for this one. It is great to see people who party for a cause! If you're wearing pink and looking muy caliente, you just might end up in ChicaGoGetter's event recap!
