Get Out and Get Connected...


Looking for a way to meet mature and motivated individuals like yourself? Looking for a way to give back to you community? Then you must be looking for the Metropolitan Board!


The Metropolitan Board (also affectionately referred to as the "MetroBoard" by its' members) is an auxiliary of the Chicago Urban League and a chapter of the National Urban League Young Professionals. Founded in 1983, the motivation behind the Metropolitan Board was to identify young African-American professionals and developing them into the future leaders of our community. Since its inception, the MetroBoard has grown to become a diverse organization of future leaders from all walks of life and place a high value in this.


The MetroBoard hosts monthly general body meetings as well as regular meetings led by committee heads to organize community service and social activities.
